How things have changed Our Process of engineering recruiting

We started as recruiters just when the internet was catching on and businesses were using email more frequently.  The advent of job boards were just starting to make their presence felt and our process of engineering recruiting would be forever changed from that point.  As technology became more a part of everyone’s life our customers followed suit and started utilizing the same tools that we utilized to find talent. Social media, job board access and internal recruiting became the norm for many of our customers and allowed them to find access to C level candidates in a way that they never had before. 

 So why would your company need a recruiter, after all the musings above lend to our trade being obsolete with all of  these changes.  There is some validity to that statement, we probably will not be doing a lot of searches for entry level candidates or positions with easily sought after skills. Our process of engineering recruiting has had to constantly evolve in response to the rapid changes in the industry. Where we can make a difference is in the talent that does not hang out on job boards, the candidates not on your radar, the passive candidate.  industy

Remember when we said that we started when the internet was just taking off.  Well guess what, our process of engineering recruiting was different back in the old days.  Recruiting then depended on your network of candidates and your ability to network.  We have spent 16 years building relationships with thousands of engineering professionals and refining the process of engineering recruiting.  Do we find positions for all of our candidates, I wish!  But what we do do is keep in touch, because you never know what opportunity might present themselves, where you might have the right person for the right job.  Our expertise has become more dependent on finding the harder to find candidates, the ones that are not actively looking but might be interested  in the right opportunity.
